Actors headshots are deceptively simple, they need to make an impact but still look “real”.  The last thing you want is to show up at an audition and get rejected because you look nothing like the idealized representation that is your overcooked headshot.  Similarly, you don’t want to look so ordinary that you don’t get noticed.  Here is a headshot session done last week for a young actress.  She was kind enough to let me film the session for training purposes, so the video shows a quick run-through of the planning setup and shoot with some of the pics at the end.
