Andrew Howes. Photographing since high school. Got addicted as soon as I saw an image form on the paper under the red light in the high school darkroom. I have always loved photographing nature, being at the right place at the right time to show Creation at its best is worth all of the getting up early, trudging through the mud in the rain and sleeping in the car or the bush.
My career as a photographer started with shooting weddings from 1988 to 2008, and portraits of all kinds to this day. In the last few years I have been increasing my travel to photograph, especially to the beautiful areas near home in SE QLD.
Media includes Digital camera to Giclee and C-type print, Black and White film, homemade cameras using paper negatives.
Currently starting work on a portfolio of human and textile forms in nature, and hope to be engaged in commissions from this kind of work.
